| The worship ministry is a dynamic, exciting part of Harmony's weekend life. It goes far beyond getting up and singing, however,
and we're always looking to get people plugged in in ways that might not be traditional roles in your average church.
Leading music
Harmony organizes the leading of music in worship into praise teams, each of which plays one weekend a month. Singers, guitar players, keyboardists,
even occasionally a trash can player... they're all used in our worship experience. Teams practice once a week throughout the month, on a day determined by
the schedule of those playing.
Media Team
The people who run media are also on a rotating schedule, one weekend a month. Camera operators, sound operators, PowerPoint, and a variety of other
jobs on a given Sunday bring the whole picture together.
Stage design
We decorate the platform each month with a new set to match the current sermon series. This team is comprised of many different types of people...
of course, set designers, but also construction crews, painters, and occasionally even electricians. Also a part of this is the light crew. Harmony uses
professional stage lighting, which requires both someone to run and a design for the set that makes the set look nice.
