Marriage Insurance for Pre-Married Couples
Harmony encourages that each engaged couple complete a PREPARE® inventory and be paired with trained marriage Mentors. This entails meeting with the trained mentor couple for 8 sessions. The major goals are:
- To explore Relationship Strengths and Growth Areas
- To learn Assertiveness and Active Listening Skills
- To learn how to resolve Conflict using the Ten-Step Model
- To help the couple discuss and understand the dynamics of their Family-of-Origin
- To help the couple with financial planning and budgeting
- To focus on personal, couple and family goals.
Upon completion of the mentoring sessions, the couple will understand each other better, understand their strengths and weaknesses, as well as have established financial plans and goals.
Studies show couples who go through pre-marital mentoring have a >95% success rate in staying together.
